Meghan Kelly
(she/her/they)
Our Chief Wellness Officer
Meghan Kelly is a Certified Athletic Therapist, personal trainer, and yoga instructor who is passionate about helping people of all ages and abilities to recover from injuries and improve their everyday function. While muscles, tendons, joints, and bones are her professional focus, she takes mind and spirit into consideration when moving through injuries as well. Meghan believes that everyone has the innate ability to heal their own bodies - she just fills in the physiology knowledge and treatment gaps along the way! She focuses on education and self-management practices, and uses modalities such as massage, joint mobilizations, cryotherapy, therapeutic ultrasound, IFC/TENS, and treatments such as taping and bracing. She feels it is important for people to understand their injury process so they can return to and excel at their daily activities in a reasonable timeframe. As an athletic therapist, Meghan has supported a wide array of individuals, from amateur and professional athletes with acute traumatic injuries to seniors recovering from joint replacement surgeries, chronic low back pain, and ICBC clients dealing with concussions and complex injuries. She has been weight-training for 16 years, and loves to teach people how to build their own workouts and stay motivated. In her free time, she loves hiking and camping with her dog and friends, long-distance paddle boarding, painting and crafting, and facilitating singing circles. She has cultivated a life-long interest in plant medicines and permaculture, and is an ally for LGBTQ2S+.
