Empowering Your Workplace with On-Site Mental Health Responders
Dreamcatcher Holistic Health Services Inc. brings compassionate, highly trained Mental Health Responders (MHRs) directly to your site, delivering immediate support, building a culture of safety, and transforming organizational well-being from the ground up.
Who Are Mental Health Responders (MHRs)?
Mental Health Responders are dedicated professionals who offer immediate, on-site mental health support wherever you need it—on worksites, communities, or in public sector environments. More than external consultants, MHRs become a visible, trusted part of your team.
They foster strong relationships, address emerging concerns in real-time, and help create a psychologically safe environment where everyone feels seen, valued, and supported. MHRs are trained to handle crises, facilitate wellness programs, and embed mental health values into daily operations.
Our Comprehensive MHR Training & CCHL Partnership
Every MHR undergoes rigorous, hands-on training grounded in best practices for workplace and community mental health.
Our training covers:
- Psychological First Aid
- Crisis Intervention
- Suicide Prevention, Intervention and Postvention
- Trauma-Informed Care
- Addiction and Recovery Support
- Grief and Loss Support
- Ethical and Legal Considerations in Mental Health
- Self-care and Resilience
Training is tailored for Industrial Trades, public, and Indigenous settings, with a strong focus on cultural relevance and practical, real-world application.
A minimum of 100 hours of supervised, on-site or in-community experience is required before MHRs receive their designation.
Strategic Partnership
We are proud to partner with the Canadian College of Health Leaders (CCHL), ensuring our Mental Health Responders are certified and trained according to national leadership standards in health services. This partnership recognizes our MHR designation for its quality, professionalism, and ongoing advancement in the field.
